Recruitment to the Post of Legal Officer (Grade III of the Executive Officer Category) on Open Basis 

APPLICATIONS are called for the post of Legal Officer of  the Department of Agriculture from citizens of Sri Lanka 

who have satisfied the following qualifications. 

Task assigned to the Post.– Providing instructions for legal matters relating to activities which fall under the 

scope of the Department of Agriculture, formulation of legal documents such as drafts of acts, regulations relevant 

to the Department, Co-ordination with Attorney General's Department, involving in Human Rights complains and 

providing instructions regarding the cases in which being respondents on a matter falls under the scope of duties of 

the officers of the Department of Agriculture and appearing 

in cases.
